This year I have been fascinated with the ice formations around our house.
Probably because we have more this year then every before.
I really hope that it is not because that we have more heat leaking out...
I am pretending it is because of the few warm days and then the cold that it is happening.
Icicles in the Sun
I love how the ice glistens in the sun
These pictures were taken through the window.

DeleteGood Morning, Marlys
ReplyDeleteIcicles are beautiful, especially when the sunlight makes them sparkle, like the ones in your photos. It looks like you took these pictures on a beautiful day, given that gorgeous blue sky in the background.
Thanks for pointing out some of winter's chilly beauty at "Sunlit Sunday".
-Karen
During the winter we need to enjoy the beauty of it.
DeleteI do not like cold but snow it is beautiful to look at!!
ReplyDeleteSmiles, Dottie
Dottie, I really like the cold and at times don't even like the snow... but seeing I live in the north with both, I need to like it.
DeleteThe icicles are interesting as you'e shown them, but continue to be so as they melt, don't you think?
ReplyDeleteThat is for sure. I could be taking pictures of them everyday.
DeleteOoh very nice pictures! Love seeing the sun sparkling through them! We can find beauty in winter if we want!!
ReplyDeleteLiz there is a lot of beauty in winter, especially when the sun shines.

ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by and enjoying them with me.
DeleteI am going to pretend that it is warmer with you but I must say that icicles make me feel cold when I see them.
ReplyDeleteRuth, they do look cold, but when the sun shining it doesn't really matter.
DeleteNice photos Marlys. I really like the contrast of the blue sky and the ice in the last photo. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteThanks Pamela, the last picture isn't really what I was going for but I like it.
